The Worcester Male Voice Choir organised a concert tour to visit our links in France as part of the WWI commemorations.
In June 2018 five members of Worcester Twinning Association and two former Mayors of Worcester joined them on their short, but action packed concert tour to Vernon and Gouzeaucourt. This also coincided with the official inauguration of a new street in Vernon, named "rue de Worcester", which is round the corner from "rue Bonaparte" and "avenue Churchill". This is in honour of the soldiers from the Worcestershire Regiment, who helped to liberate Vernon at the end of WWII in August 1944.
