Le Vésinet
Le Vésinet, with a population of around 17,000, is on the South-Western outskirts of Paris and is a delightful garden suburb with many trees and lakes as well as a thriving market and shopping centre.
A short distance from Le Vésinet is Chatou, home of the Impressionists and under an hour's drive is Giverny and the famous Monet garden.
Twinning between Worcester and Le Vésinet commenced in 1994. A number of visits and exchanges have taken place and friendships formed.
Worcester is a regular participant at Le Vésinet's Fete de la Marguerite and Christmas Twinning Fair and Le Vésinet's stall at the Worcester Christmas Fayre is renowned for its crepes.

One of our French twin towns, Le Vésinet, near Paris is hosting an international singing contest!

2019 marks 25 years of our enduring twinning links with Le Vésinet in France.

The Fête de la Marguerite takes place in Le Vésinet over a long weekend in June each year.

In December 2018 five delegates from Worcester participated in the Marché de Noël des Jumelages in Le Vésinet.
