In December 2018 five delegates from Worcester participated in the Marché de Noël des Jumelages in Le Vésinet.

Stalls were set up in the Hôtel de Ville once again because it was pouring with rain and very windy.

Early December 2017 five delegates from City of Worcester Twinning Association went over to Le Vésinet to participate in the Twinning Christmas Market. The weather was cold and windy and it was considered to be far too dangerous for the Christmas Market stalls to be outside. We had to assemble our stalls in the basement of the Town Hall. We attended the Le Vésinet members Christmas Dinner on Saturday Evening and enjoyed talking to old friends and making new friends from Le Vésinet, Unterhaching in Bavaria and Villa Nueva de la Canada in Spain. The journey home was exhausting because our ferry at Dieppe was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions and we had to drive over to Calais in the middle of the night. The Tunnel was closed and we eventually managed to catch a ferry which took us to Dover the following morning!
