Le Vésinet, with a population of around 17,000, is on the south-western outskirts of Paris and is a delightful garden suburb with many trees and lakes as well as a thriving market and shopping centre.

It is in the Department of Yvelines in the Île-de-France region and only a short journey away from Paris on the RER line from one of its two stations.

Twinning between Worcester and Le Vésinet commenced in 1994 and we shall be celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2019.

A number of visits and exchanges have taken place and friendships formed.

Worcester is a regular participant at Le Vésinet's Fêtes de la Marguerite in June each year and at Le Marché de Noel des Jumelages in December.

The Le Vésinet stall at the Worcester Christmas Fayre is renowned for its delicious crêpes and this Victorian Christmas street market in the heart of Worcester takes place each year at the end of November.
